Your mental health is the MOST important! Don't be afraid to reach out if you are suffering from mental health issues.

Option 1: Ongoing Individual Therapy
A weekly 45-minute session with your CAPS counselor. it can take a few weeks to be matched with the therapist. :(
Option 2: One Time Session/Consultation
A single 45-minute session focused on a particular concern. There's less waiting time to schedule a one-time session!
Option 3: Drop-in Sessions
CAPs hold drop-in sessions from 11am-noon and 2pm-3pm each weekday (Monday-Friday). CAPS holds drop-in hours in which you can meet with a CAPS counselor for a brief 15-20 session. Email hc-capsdropin@haverford.edu on the day of the drop-in hour you would like to attend.

STEP 1: Submit the Voluntary Disability Disclosure & Accommodations Request form.
STEP 2: Prepare documentation for your condition that has a current functional impact and meets the current legal definition of a disability.
STEP 3: Submit your documentation.

STEP 4: ​Meet with ADS and receive the Accommodation Verification Letter.
STEP 5: Reach out to the professors of the course that you want to use your accommodation. You may choose not to disclose the nature of your accommodation. This is recommended to be done within the first two weeks of the semester.
